Grafham Water Trip: Friday 2nd October 2020
Excitement is beginning to mount for our trip to Grafham Water in a few weeks. As you know due to current circumstances, this unfortunately cannot be a residential trip this year but all staff – both in school and at Grafham - are still determined to make it a valuable and exciting experience for your children. Everyone will be encouraged and supported to try their best across a range of adventurous activities and hopefully by the end of the day everyone will leave feeling proud of what they have achieved, and maybe even a little surprised by themselves!
There will be several messages coming home about Grafham in the next few weeks, some of which require a response from you. Please keep an eye out for these as they may be arriving via Parentmail, hard copy or email.
The coach will be departing from school at 8am so please drop your child off at 7.45am on Friday 2nd October so we will have time to sort out any last minute issues if necessary. We will be leaving Grafham Water at 5.15pm, hopefully returning to school at around 6pm so it will most definitely be a long day. We will keep you updated as we travel home on our progress and expected arrival time to try and prevent you having to wait around for too long but please remember that Friday afternoon traffic often has a mind of its own despite our best efforts!
Please try and start banking some early nights for us with your children so everyone can enjoy themselves. Thank you for your support.
