The Elves and the Shoemaker
On Thursday, 13th January we were all treated to another spectacular performance by Andy, from Widdershins Puppet Theatre.
This time Andy magically told the story of ‘The Elves and the Shoemaker’ in his own special way.
He really does need to be seen to fully understand and appreciate the magic that he brings.
Harvest Festival at Steeple
As part of our Harvest Festival this year we thought about apples and looked at the work of Paul Cezanne.
Paul Cezanne was a 'Post-Impressionist' painter who was interested in shape and form. To work in the style of Cezanne we layered colours, and outlined our work in a dark inky blue.
Cezanne said 'he wanted to paint what our eyes think'
Each class produced apples in a different media, before we put them all together to form our school still life.
